James married (2) Sarah Bellamy daughter of Richard Bellamy and Elizabeth Staunton in 1790. Sarah was born in 1770 in Worcester England. She died in 1843 in Lane Cove.

Sarah was convicted at Worcester, of theft. She arrived on the Lady Penrhyn
