1. Richard James Hicks was born in 1785 in Kent England. He died in 1852 in Mulgoa.

Richard was convicted at Kent and arrived on the Nile in 1801.       

Richard was in a common law marriage with Margaret Howe. Margaret was born in 1778 in Surrey England. She died in 1837 in Castlereagh.

Margaret was convicted at Guildford and arrived on the Experiment in 1804.

Richard and Margaret had the following children:
